Z-Pipe Secondary Exhaust - Heat Control & Muffler

Protect your investment, and get your generator Super Quiet with The Z-Pipe 'secondary muffler & Exhaust' proprietary for ZombieBox enclosures.

This is a 'Universal' muffler adapter system = will mount to most engine driven equipment mufflers with our adapter design. Some modification maybe necessary.

In addition to extra 15% exhaust noise reduction, (between 2-4 dBA) the primary function of the Z-Pipe system helps control temperatures and reduce the amount of maintenance required on the liners and fan.

This system has been thoroughly tested for back pressure and results are consistently 0 psi increase in pressure.

This is a must have in warm/hot ambient temp locations OR when there is limited space surrounding the enclosed equipment.

Includes all self drilling mounting hardware and parts as pictured

These are designed to keep your enclosure Cooler & Cleaner.  The ZPipe extracts the hottest gases out of the enclosure which keeps your generator cooler and reduces maintenance and fatigue of the acoustic insulation and the vent fan inside the enclosures.  Flex pipe size is approximately 2ft long, inside diameter of 1.5in.

It is a universal fit system - How it works:

  1. Attach threaded end of flexible pipe to the inside flange on enclosure panel

  2. Attach adapter to existing muffler outlet using supplied self drilling screws

  3. Attach 90 degree elbow adapter (if necessary) to muffler adapter, lock into place with set screw

  4. Slip flex tube onto 90 degree elbow adapter and clamp securely (or directly to muffler adapter if elbow not used)

  5. Then simply thread in larger 90 degree elbow and silencing muffler to outside flange on the back of the enclosure.

Muffler is approximately 12in long, which is a glass pack style and will create 0 back pressure!  This system will reduce TOTAL noise an additional 2-4 dB beyond what the box is rated.

Obviously every engine is different in design and application, so actual dBA reduction will vary based on equipment and environment in which it is operated. But these work great for keeping the enclosure cool and clean.
